Overview
The DocuCentre-IV 5070/ 4070 series is the newest generation of flagship black and white multifunction devices for the office environment. It replaces the ApeosPort/ DocuCentre-II 5010/4000 and delivers the same reliability, outstanding performance and security plus some new features.
The DocuCentre-IV 5070/ 4070 series caters for customers that need advanced features, an abundance of paper capacity, professional finishing and a common user experience across a wide range of print speeds.
Features
High-speed printing at 55/45 ppm in monochrome
- This device can continuously print data at 55/45 ppm in monochrome. Documents can be printed at high speed for various applications, such as meeting materials and product catalogs.
High quality printout of 1,200 x 1,2000 dpi
Smooth output of various files without using a driver
- A utility called ContentsBridge Utility is provided so you can print a DocuWorks, PDF, TIFF, JPEG, or XPS file just by dragging and dropping it onto the icon on the desktop. This utility enables PDF data to be output at high speed and with high quality without the Adobe® PostScript® 3™ Kit.
Direct Printing from USB memory
- Document data saved to USB memory can be directly output without using a computer. DocuWorks document, PDF, XPS, and TIFF.
Security printing for leakage prevention – Password entry before printing data
- When outputting a document you do not want to show to third parties or a confidential document, you can temporarily store output data in the main unit and then start output by inputting the password for the main unit as necessary. You can also cancel an incorrect print instruction before output and avoid the problem of confidential documents being output at unattended locations.
Private printing
- Printing data can be spooled into the multifunction device hard disk and printed after the user is authenticated using an IC card.
Printing time specification function
- The time to start printing can be specified when issuing a print job instruction. Printing automatically starts at the specified time.
